In this nighttime long exposure of the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park in New York City the angel stands serene as the water runs and the clouds stream by.
The angel was the creation of sculptor Emma Stebbins and as well as being the only major sculpture commissioned for Central Parks initial construction it was also the first commissioned major sculpture in New City by a woman.
